Kitchen Remodeling
We don’t hand your kitchen off. The same studio that draws it manages demolition, trades, and installation — so the finished room matches the drawing, the schedule is honest, and you make decisions once.
The Vision
The design vision stays connected through every day of construction.
Design, construction planning, trade coordination, and installation stay under one accountable team from demolition to the final walkthrough.

What’s Included
A Complete, Considered Scope
01
One point of contact
One team carries your kitchen from the first demolition day to the final punch list. You always know who to call, questions are answered by people who know the drawings, and nothing gets lost in a handoff between a designer and a separate contractor.
02
Trade coordination
Electrical, plumbing, ventilation, drywall, and cabinetry are sequenced so each trade arrives when the work before it is ready. Inspections are scheduled at the right moments, and small conflicts are solved on paper before they become delays on site.
03
Honest schedule + budget
You get a realistic timeline before work begins and regular updates as it moves. Because the kitchen is fully designed and selections are made before construction, the budget is built from real quantities and specified materials, so it holds.
04
In-house installation
Our own crew sets the cabinetry, and we coordinate stone templating and installation directly. The people installing your kitchen work from the same drawings the design was built on, so reveals, clearances, and details come out as intended.
How It Unfolds
What happens during a kitchen remodel.
Every kitchen is different, but the order of work follows a clear sequence. Knowing what happens in each phase helps you plan meals and routines around the project, and shows why some steps, like templating and inspections, can’t be rushed. It also shows where the budget goes, since much of the most important work happens behind walls long before the finishes arrive.
Protection + demolition.
We protect floors and finishes along the work path, seal the kitchen from the rest of the house, and remove cabinets, counters, and flooring as planned. Any hidden conditions are documented and addressed before rebuilding starts.
Rough-in + inspections.
Plumbing, electrical, gas, and ventilation are moved or upgraded to match the plan, and blocking goes in for cabinets and hoods. Inspections happen while walls are open, then drywall and prep for finishes follow.
Cabinetry, stone + finish.
Cabinets are set and leveled, counters are templated and installed, then backsplash, fixtures, appliances, and lighting go in. We finish with a walkthrough and punch list so every detail matches the design.

Selected Work
Opened up, then built as drawn.
In the Hydukovich remodel, a dividing wall came down to join kitchen and dining. Two-tone knotty-alder cabinetry, quartz counters, and a teal tile backsplash were installed to match the drawings, turning a closed kitchen into the center of the home. Every detail was planned.

Remodeling Questions
Kitchen remodeling, answered.
More answers for homeowners planning a kitchen remodel. If yours isn’t listed, bring it to your free consultation.
Do you handle demolition and construction, or just design?
Both. The same studio that designs your kitchen manages demolition, trades, cabinetry, and installation — one accountable team from start to finish.
Can I cook at home during the remodel?
We’ll set up a temporary kitchen area where we can and be upfront about the stretch — usually during demo and countertop templating — when the kitchen is fully out of service.
What surprises come up in older Tucson kitchens?
Once walls open we sometimes find dated wiring, galvanized supply lines, or unpermitted past work. Because we measure and plan thoroughly first, these are handled deliberately rather than as budget shocks.
How accurate is the schedule?
Because one team runs the job and the design is fully documented before we build, our schedules tend to hold. We tell you the realistic timeline, not the optimistic one.
Who installs the cabinetry and stone?
Our own crew sets the cabinetry, and we coordinate stone templating and installation directly — so the finished kitchen matches the drawing.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
It depends on scope, selections, and lead times. Once the design is complete, we give you a realistic construction schedule and keep you updated as work moves forward.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We coordinate the permits the project requires and schedule inspections at the right stages, so work proceeds without surprises.
Can we stay in the house during construction?
Most clients do. We seal the work area, protect floors along the access path, and clean up daily so the rest of the home stays livable.
Can walls be removed to open the kitchen?
Often, yes. We evaluate structure and utilities during design, so the plan accounts for beams, supports, and relocations before work starts.
How do you keep the project on budget?
The budget is built from a complete design and specified materials. If hidden conditions appear, we explain the fix and price it before moving forward.
Will you protect the rest of the house?
Yes. Dust barriers, floor protection, and a clean work area are standard throughout the project.
What happens if a selection is delayed?
We order long-lead items early and track them. If something is delayed, we adjust the sequence and tell you right away how it affects the schedule.
Can we keep our existing appliances?
Often, yes. We measure them during design and plan cabinetry and clearances around them, or plan openings for new appliances you choose.
How much of the kitchen will be unusable?
Plan on the kitchen being out of service for much of the project. We tell you in advance which weeks are most disruptive so you can plan around them.
Do you coordinate appliance delivery?
Yes. We schedule deliveries and installation to match the construction sequence, so appliances arrive when the space is ready for them.
Can the remodel include flooring and lighting?
Yes. Flooring, lighting, and adjacent spaces can be part of the scope, so the finished kitchen connects cleanly to the rooms around it.
How do you communicate during the project?
You have one point of contact who shares regular updates, answers questions, and flags any decisions that need your input.
