Custom Cabinetry

Custom Kitchen Cabinets

Stock boxes leave gaps and compromises. Our custom kitchen cabinetry is drawn to your walls and your habits — full-height storage, drawers where you reach, and species and finishes chosen to age well in desert light.

The Vision

Every inch planned. Every detail built for the room.

We develop the proportions, interiors, materials, hardware, finish, and installation together so the cabinetry works beautifully and belongs to the architecture.

What’s Included

A Complete, Considered Scope

01

Made to your dimensions

Every cabinet is drawn to the measured size of your walls, ceilings, and openings, not to a catalog’s standard box widths. Runs end cleanly at walls and windows, uppers can reach the ceiling, and space that stock cabinetry would fill with blank panels becomes usable storage.

02

Interiors that work

Interiors are planned around what you actually keep and where you reach for it. Deep drawers for pots, pull-outs for spices and oils, tray dividers, trash and recycling centers, and appliance garages are placed near the zones where they get used.

03

Species + finish

Rift and quarter-sawn oak, walnut, alder, and painted finishes are all options, along with the door style, edge profile, and hardware that suit the house. We help you choose finishes that hold their color in strong Arizona light and stand up to daily use.

04

Precise installation

Our own crew sets every cabinet level, plumb, and tight to the wall, scribing panels and fillers on site to account for walls that aren’t perfectly straight. Doors and drawers are adjusted at the end so reveals line up across the whole kitchen.

The Cabinetry Process

How custom kitchen cabinets come together.

Custom cabinetry is built once, so the details have to be right before fabrication begins. Our process moves from measuring and layout to detailed drawings and material selections, then into fabrication and installation, with your review and approval at each step.

Measure + layout.

We measure the kitchen precisely, note plumbing, electrical, and ventilation, and develop a layout that organizes cooking, cleanup, and storage zones around how you use the room.

Detail + select.

Elevations and 3D views show every door, drawer, and panel. Wood species, finishes, hardware, and interior fittings are chosen and approved before anything is built.

Build + install.

Cabinetry is fabricated to the approved drawings, then installed, scribed, and adjusted on site so counters, appliances, and hardware fit exactly as planned.

Kitchen Cabinet Questions

Kitchen cabinets, answered.

Answers for homeowners planning new kitchen cabinetry. If yours isn’t listed, bring it to your free consultation.

Why choose custom cabinetry over stock or semi-custom?

Custom cabinetry uses every inch of your room, puts storage exactly where you reach, and is built and finished to last — no fillers, no forced compromises around fixed box sizes.

What woods and finishes can I choose?

Rift and quarter-sawn oak, walnut, painted finishes, and more. We’ll help you choose one that suits the room and holds up in desert light.

Can you match cabinetry to an existing kitchen or home?

Yes — we can match species, stain, and detailing to blend new cabinetry with what’s already there, or carry a new language through the whole space.

Do you design the interiors, not just the boxes?

We plan drawers, pull-outs, dividers, and appliance garages around how you actually use the kitchen, so the storage works as hard as the layout.

Who installs the cabinetry?

Our own crew sets it level and tight, scribed to your walls — so the finished install matches the drawing.

How long do custom kitchen cabinets take?

Most of the schedule is design and fabrication. We give you a realistic timeline once the layout and selections are approved, and installation follows once the cabinetry is complete.

Can cabinets go all the way to the ceiling?

Yes. Full-height uppers add storage and remove the dust shelf above standard cabinets, and we can finish the top with crown molding or a clean, flush detail.

Do you coordinate with appliances?

Yes. We design around your appliance specifications, including panel-ready refrigerators and dishwashers, so openings, clearances, and ventilation are right the first time.

Can we reuse our countertops?

Sometimes. If the counters are in good condition and the layout stays the same, new cabinetry can be built to support them, though removal always carries some risk of damage.

Can you design an island with seating and storage?

Yes. Islands can combine seating, drawers, a prep sink, or a cooktop, with the overhang and clearances planned so stools and walkways both work.

How do you handle uneven floors or walls?

Cabinets are leveled and shimmed to the floor, and panels and fillers are scribed on site to the wall, so the finished run looks straight even when the house isn’t.
