Design & Remodeling in Dove Mountain

Dove Mountain is resort living in Marana’s high desert — contemporary homes built for entertaining and long mountain views.

The Neighborhood

A Local Approach to Dove Mountain Homes.

These are newer, larger homes where the kitchen is the social center and the primary bath is a private retreat. We design for how people actually host here — generous islands, serious appliances, and calm, spa-grade baths — with a material palette suited to the contemporary desert setting.

Dove Mountain Priorities

Built for hosting and retreat.

Dove Mountain homes are newer and generously sized, so projects here are rarely about fixing problems. They are about tailoring rooms designed for a broad market to the way you entertain, relax, and live day to day. Most homeowners here already love the location and the views, and the goal is interiors that match both.

Contemporary Desert

A palette that fits the setting.

Dove Mountain’s architecture leans contemporary, set against the Tortolita Mountains and open high desert. We choose materials that work with that backdrop: warm woods, textured stone, and quiet neutrals that hold up in strong light. Selections are compared side by side and reviewed in photoreal 3D, so every finish is settled before anything is ordered. Lighting is planned alongside materials, so evenings feel as considered as the bright desert afternoons.

Dove Mountain Questions

Good to know.

Answers for Dove Mountain homeowners weighing a kitchen, bath, or whole-home update. Bring any other questions to your consultation.

Do you work throughout Dove Mountain?

Yes — Dove Mountain and the surrounding Tucson metro are core to our practice, and we know the local trades, suppliers, and permitting.

What does a project in Dove Mountain cost?

It depends on scope and finish level. We give every Dove Mountain homeowner an honest, itemized budget range as part of the design phase — no vague ballparks.

Are you licensed and insured?

Fully licensed and insured in Arizona, and experienced with local inspection and HOA requirements common in Dove Mountain.

Our home is fairly new. Is a remodel worth it?

Often, yes. Many newer homes were finished with builder-grade selections. Upgrading cabinetry, counters, lighting, and layout can make a home feel custom without changing its structure.

Can you plan around part-time residents?

Yes. If you split your year between homes, we can schedule design meetings and key decisions around the months you are in town.

Do you plan for community guidelines?

Yes. Dove Mountain communities set their own rules for contractor hours, access, and exterior changes, and we plan the project around them from the start.

How long does a project take here?

Timing depends on scope, selections, and product lead times. We give you a realistic schedule during design and keep it updated as orders are placed and work progresses.

Can you update our great room as well?

Yes. Built-ins, media walls, lighting, and flooring can be designed alongside the kitchen, so the great room and kitchen read as one space.

Can a kitchen or bar open toward the patio?

Yes. We design kitchens, bars, and buffet cabinetry that face outdoor living areas, so serving guests inside and out feels easy.

How do you keep a larger home consistent?

We plan materials as one palette across the kitchen, baths, and living areas, so each room feels connected even when projects happen in phases.

What about homes on golf-course or view lots?

We plan layouts so windows stay clear and the best views are framed from the rooms you use most, whether the lot faces a fairway or the mountains.

Can we reuse any existing finishes?

Often. Flooring, cabinetry, or fixtures in good condition can stay in the plan, and we design new work to sit comfortably beside them.
